DRILL & BLAST ENGINEER



Develop drill and blast designs, implement designs in conjunction with blasting sub-contractor and monitor drill and blast results, acknowledging inefficiencies and recommending changes accordingly to ensure high quality, cost effective and safe blasting occur.



Requirements:
1. Min Bachelor degree in Mining or Geologist with Class II Blaster Certificate
2. Min. 2 years previous experiences in drilling & blasting engineering
3. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa, written & verbal,
4. Understanding applications of drill blast design and shot plus software
5. Familiar with designing drill and blast, leading the team and explosives
handling



Responsibilities:
1) Develop, recommend and implement suitable strategies to provide optimal
blasting solutions and improve blasting performance to operations.
2) Ensure the drilling plan is provided in a timely manner and the drill is
working productively in the most cost effective and safe manner.
3) Coordinate blasting activities, lead and control blasting crew to ensure
agreed mine plan is being followed.
4) Analyze and communicate drilling and blasting issues to short term engineer
and mining operation in order to provide technical support to site based
personnel.
5) Monitor and control drill and blast operations and activities in progress to
ensure high standards of safety are always upheld.



Placement : Project Site, East Kalimantan



Engineering Manager



Plan, direct and control the Engineering function to produce a cost effective
engineered solution (including the development of appropriate Specifications)
for the Project within the budgeted man hours and within the tendered timeframe
by utilizing capable and appropriate resources efficiently to ensure that
Procurement/Construction activities commence on time.



Requirements:
• Work extended hours to meet Engineering deadlines
• Required to travel to site
• Ensure all designs produced are cost effective and within the budget
constraints of the Project
• Develop a close relationship with the Procurement Manager
• Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and procurement management principles
and practices. Must possess an in depth knowledge of the Engineering and Design
process as well as extensive experience in construction methods
• Min. Bachelor degree preferably in Engineering
• Maximize Project margins by ensuring appropriate Technical Specifications and
Codes are adopted to suit the requirements of the contract
• Min. 15 years previous experiences in Engineering with 5 yrs as a Manager
• Demonstrated effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills



Responsibilities:
1. Be fully conversant with the contents of the Project Safety Management Plans
(including Environment) and the Company policies on safety. Ensure that Safety
topics are discussed with all Vendors/Subcontractors/Consultants prior to the
commencement of any engineering/design activities and be vigilant in enforcing
the agreed standards.
2. Develop an Engineering/Design Management Plan for the Project that includes
the strategy to deliver the work in accordance with the schedule parameters set
by the Project Manager. This plan must be maintained and remain relevant to the
function during the course of the Project.
3. Develop a detailed Engineering schedule to meet the requirements of the
Project. Be fully accountable for this schedule and react to any negative
movements to ensure the schedule is met.
4. Resource the Engineering department to ensure that the schedule can be
delivered by all disciplines. Develop a back-up strategy to be able to react to
the situation where the scope grows or delays begin. Understand the availability
of resources or consultants to be able to react promptly to all situations.
5. Ensure that all members of the Engineering Team fully understand the
requirement of the Project and are familiar with the Design Management Plan and
are conversant with the commercial constraints of the Project Budget.
6. Interface with the Procurement function to ensure that all Technical Bid
Evaluations are completed on time so that the procurement process is not delayed
as a result of Engineering in decisiveness. Meet on a regular basis (more than
once per week) with the Procurement Manager and plan the resource allocations to
ensure schedules are met..
7. Establish and maintain effective work relationships with all members of the
Project team and offer support to all persons that request support. Pass
knowledge onto your team and others in the Project so that the capability of the
developed team grows throughout the life of the Project.
8. Establish a comprehensive database of all Standards, Codes, and
Specifications and ensure that all members of the Engineering Team are familiar
with their location and the appropriate use of the information. Keep all
reference material updated and current.
9. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on the progress of the engineering phase
of the Project. Identify areas of concern and the strategy to mitigate the known
issues.
10. Establish and maintain a detailed risk register for the engineering function
and liaise with the Project Controls and Project Managers to discuss the
identified risks on a regular basis.
11. Establish a rigid Document Control system to ensure that all members of the
Engineering team follow the approved procedures. Provide training in the use of
the system and ensure that all Vendors/Fabricators submit their documents direct
to the leader of the Doc Con function.
12. Ensure that inter-disciplinary reviews are conducted for all aspects of the
Project. Monitor the IDR process to ensure that the turn-around time for
documents is known and the duration is being minimized.
13. Establish an efficient Technical Query system to control all TQ s between
all partners in the Project. Ensure that all subcontract Vendors/Fabricators
adopt the system and it is fully utilized. Manage the TQ system and report
weekly the status of all TQ s. Continually strive to reduce the TQ response
time.
14. Performs administrative supervisory tasks including evaluating employee
performance, source necessary skills and resources based on manpower forecasts
to provide managerial supports in administrative matters.
15. Establish a Management of Change procedure and educate the Project Team (all
departments) about it s appropriate use. Ensure the system is adopted with the
use of all subcontractors to ensure that all changes are effectively managed.
16. Provide a support service to the Construction phase by assigning persons to
the site team and ensuring that the response time to fieldd TQ s is minimized.
17. Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management
System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard
and requirements



ENGINEERING SUPERINTENDENT



Control, monitor and supervise Business Mining Process by variance in the
Project mining operations to ensure production is achieved in accordance with
Project parameters, Project schedule and budget and in compliance with Petrosea
and Project safety and environmental policy and guidelines.



Requirements:
1. Min. Bachelor degree in Mining Engineer.
2. Fluent in English, written and verbal.
3. Good leadership and communication skill.
4. Willing to be placed in all mining project location.
5. May be required to work flexible hours to meet Project requirements.



Responsibilities:
1) Provide leadership and direction to all mining engineering staff to ensure
the safest and efficient mining operations to achieve production targets.
2) Work with Senior Mining Engineer to develop weekly, monthly and shutdown
schedules for inclusion in the BMP plans by the Senior Mining Engineer.
3) Assist with the implementation of the BMP system through leadership of
technical assistants, production of accurate and timely reports, and
troubleshooting problems encountered with the system.
4) Responsible to implement long term mine plans and short term detailed mine
execution plans at all levels using the BMP process and to provide the necessary
production parameters needed by BMP on a continuous feedback basis to enable
short term control to achieve the long term mine plan.
5) Assist the Mining Engineer to develop and update mine plans and production
schedules in accordance with project criteria.
6) Implement and manage the mining operations in accordance with the mine plan
to achieve production schedules.
7) Prepare timely and accurate information on project progress for inclusion in
progress claims and reports prepared by the Senior Mining Engineer.
8) Organize, coordinate and manage production meetings internally and with the
Client and arrange for distribution of minutes.
9) Responsible for the optimization and utilization of mining equipment by the
Mining Supervisor to achieve production targets.
10) Ensure smooth coordination between Mining operations and Maintenance to
maximize availability and utilization of all mining equipment.
11) Monitor and manage the performance of all mining engineering staff.
12) Assist the Project Manager in the training and mentoring of personnel as
required by the company.
13) Assist the Project Manager in promoting the development of teamwork.
14) Promote and develop an open ethical work environment.



GRADUATE MINING ENGINEER



• Support and assist mining engineer in implementing short and long term mine
plans, schedules and other mining engineering information that effectively
supports the mining operations in order to gain experience as well as achieving
performance within project criteria.
• The graduate engineer will gain valuable experience in all disciplines of mine
engineering based on a pre-determined rotation program.



Requirements:
1. Fresh graduate from Mining Engineering or Geology.
2. Willing to learn and undertake on the job training.
3. Must be prepared to develop industry skills and willing to take instructions
from others.
4. Fluent in English written and spoken.
5. Willing to be assigned in all project mining locations.
6. Self-motivated, good interpersonal and communication skills.



Responsibilities:
1) Assist Mining Engineers to produce effective short to long term plans and
mine designs in compliance with standard systems and procedures.
2) Assist with the implementation of the BMP (Business Mining Petrosea) system
through leadership of technical assistants, production of accurate and timely
reports, and troubleshooting problems encountered with the system.
3) Work with the surveyors to contribute to the compilation of monthly progress
claims.
4) Assist with the accurate and timely production of the monthly, weekly and
daily reports.
5) Work to attain a very high proficiency in the use of mine planning software
6) Contribute to the compilation of tenders



HSE COORDINATOR – KALIMANTAN TIMUR



Provide support to the B/L or Project business operation with leading the
process of implementing HSE program from implement, execute, monitor and
evaluate, the activities and provide corrective action required to achieve good
HSE business process compliance with definitive performance target.



Requirements:
1. Keselamatan Kesehatan kerja – S1/D4 or Hygiene Perusahaan Kesehatan D3 or
Engineering S1.
2. 4 (Four) years of experience in HSE exposure.
3. Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Mining industry experience.
4. Good knowledge of Accident prevention, Fire prevention, Risk Assessment, PTO,
HSE procedure, Hazob, Inspection, Emergency response, investigation accident,
audit process.
5. Good Leadership and communication/presentation skill.
6. Fair in English both verbal and writing.
7. Willing to work at remote area.



Responsibilities:
1) Taking lead in execute the HSE key factors in project site.
2) Maintain HSE performance of Target Zero injuries, and Zero harm to community
and environment.

MINING ENGINEER



Responsible in creating module for all heavy equipment training, training
presentation, making standard assessment and guideline to be implemented in all
site areas of Mine Training Operation.



Requirement:
• A minimum of 2 years experience in mining industry
• Min. Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering
• Knowledge of best practice in Project Management
• Willing to be placed in all company s site locations
• Good command in English written and verbal
• Familiar with Mining software



Responsibilities:
1) Evaluate and analyse project performance data related to productivity, cost &
safety utilising company s standard systems in order to ensure data reliability.
2) Contribute to the development of the short term detailed mine execution plans
to integrate with the mining operations (utilising Surpac mine planning
software).
3) Monitor and coordinate engineering activities to ensure efficient production
of engineering plans to meet contract program requirements.
4) Analyse and identify engineering problems in order to propose solutions and
expedite actions regarding the client agreement where necessary.
5) Review client plans and requests to ensure the requirements defined are
incorporated in the works and the responsibilities allocated under the project
quality system and understood and implemented.
6) Prepare data for the progress claim report to be reviewed by the Engineering
Superintendent.
7) Collect data related to subcontractor performance in order to prepare summary
reports required for the project.
8) Support and cooperate with site survey team in order to analyse progress
surveys and haul profile surveys.
9) Coaching and mentoring of graduate mining engineers, mining engineers and
technical assistants in order to provide technical support.
10) Identify hazards and risks during the planning phase of the work packages in
order to minimise exposure to personnel and the environment.



MINING ESTIMATOR



Prepare price estimate based on "Current Cost" including financial model (IRR
and cashflow) and sensitivity analysis. Monitor, review, and analyse factors
that might impact mining business line which cover detailed financial analysis
relating to mining tenders, projects, and capital purchases, the m,arket
environment, competior analysis and operational performance in order to provide
business line manager with accurate /current and concise analysis on any issue
that could impact mining strategic business plan.



Requirement:
• Excellent English skills – spoken, written and presentation.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively
communicate with all levels of staff in the organisation.
• Must be proficient in excel, power point and report preparation and
presentation.
• Ability to develop clear, concise and accurate report summaries.
• Excellent business analysis skills, strong financial modelling skills.
• Mining engineering degree
• Have several experiences in mining/construction related companies (but not
essential)
• May be required to travel to mining projects from time to time



Responsibilities:
1. Review and analyse project operational and financial variances to tender in
order to constantly seeking business improvement initiatives.
2. Provide support to mining General Managers in implementing strategic business
improvement initiatives to ensure that business initiative are well implemented.
3. Provide support and assistance in preparing forecast as required to ensure
forecast are reasonable, consistent with the mining activity and accurate.
4. Support the tender team to identify, evaluate and rank risks as well as
develop a strategy to manage risks in order to minimize risk possibility.
5. Maximize utilisation of current labour, staff and material prices to ensure
estimates are based on "Current cost".
6. Attend sites visits and prepare detailed report of local conditions,
available facilities & technical resources to attain current material for
estimating process.
7. Support the Senior Estimator with the preparation of commercial and technical
clarifications, client pricing and technical tender schedules in order to
enhance the efficiency of the preparation.



MINING SUPERVISOR



Monitor, control and supervise the mining production resources to achieve the
production targets and objectives of the project in accordance with the project
parameters and guidelines.



Requirements:
• Fluent in English, written and verbal
• Familliar with mining software
• Having at least 4 years of experience in the similar role (as Mining
Supervisor)
• Certified in POP
• Understand the SHE aspects of mining operations
• Good communication and leadership skill
• Willing to be placed in all company location
• Excellent computer skill
• May be required to work flexible hours to meet Project requirments



Responsibilities:
1. Responsible to implement short term detailed mine execution plans at the
position level using the BMP process and to provide the necessary production
[arameters needed by BMP on a continuous feedback basis to enable short term
control to achieve the long term mine plan.
. Surpervise the performance of mining foremen, operators, technicians and
unskilled personnel in the mining operations in the shift by shift BMP process
using short term variance.
3. Identify the development and training needs of the mining foremen, operators,
technicians and unskilled personnel in the mining operations for the benefit of
the Project Manager.
4. Co-ordinate and supervise Mining production and other mining team to ensure
smooth operations at loading points.
5. Control production on an hour by hour basis and prepare timely and accurate
reports on project progress as requires by the project.
6. Assist Mining Superintendent in liaise and co-ordinate with maintenance
departement to optimize and maximize mining equipment availability and
utilization in achieving production target.
7.Minimise axposure to personnel and the environment by identifying hazards and
risks during the operation phase of the work packages and implement all safety
procedures, rules and regulations in accordance with the Safety Management Plan.



Project Manager



Plan, direct and control a project from the date of award to the issue of a
practical completion certificate and ideally be involved until end of the
maintenance period to ensure a project is running well, completed on time and to
budget in accordance with all the company standard procedures and to the
satisfaction of the clients.



Requirement:
• Bachelor degree in Mining, Civil Engineering from reputable local / overseas
university or suitable industry practical or managerial experience Able to
communicate in English is a must
• At least 10 years professional experience in Mining, out of which 5 years in
managerial position
• Comprehensive knowledge of mining management principles , practical mining
equipment application and the associated flow of design and mining project
management
• Managerial skill, Human relation, leadership, English language, Networking
capability, Communication capability



Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management
System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard
and requirements
2. Plan and control the flow of work for a mining project, including estimated
timeline, supplies and personnel required for completing the project to ensure
that projects generate the expected business revenue according to established
plan.
3. Ensure project efficiency is in line with the established plan in order to
meet the expected EBT level.
4. Direct, control and execute the Project by conducting a kick off meeting (new
project) with the Project Team, assign duties and responsibilities as detailed
in the functional matrix in order to ensure project initial are well managed.
5. Direct, review and analyze client specifications and documents to ensure the
requirements defined are incorporated into the works and the responsibilities
allocated under the project quality system are understood and implemented.
6. Prepare, control and implement project budgets, mining schedules, project
reporting, project progress assessment, project execution plan, and site P & L
to ensure budget are met with operational needs and requirements.
7. Interface and coordinate subcontract activities to ensure that they will
support the achievement of project aims and the support of company objectives.
8. Direct, monitor and utilize company s equipment safely, efficiently, to
maintain schedule compliance on planned maintenance and reduce cost as
appropriate in order to optimize asset utilization.
9. Direct, submit and negotiate claims to settlement as required to ensure that
progress claims are submitted and paid in a timely manner.
10. Plan, analyze and establish detailed cost forecasts, manage variations in
order to close out to maximize returns in a timely manner.
11. Direct, control and manage all site statutory permits and approvals as
required to proceed with the contract to ensure all permits and formalities are
complete and valid.
12. Establish to maintain and manage all stakeholders interests to ensure
harmonious and cooperative relationships in industrial relations, community

SENIOR MINING ENGINEER



Monitor, control and supervise mining staff and resources in order to produce
systems and procedures that effectively support the mining operations in
achieving performance within budget.



Requirements:
1. Min. Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering
2. Min. 3 years experience as a Mining Engineer in open-cut mining
3. Fluent in English, written and verbal
4. Willing to be placed in all company s locations or Jakarta
5. May be required to work flexible hours to meet project requirements



Responsibilities:
1) Prepare, analyze and adjust data of production, record details of the day s
work on a daily report pad in order to establish project performance report.
2) Identify engineering problems, propose solutions and expedite client
agreement where necessary to ensure minimal disruption to the progress of the
works.
3) Review client specifications, drawings and documents to ensure the
requirements defined are incorporated in the works and the responsibilities
allocated under the project quality system and understood and implemented.
4) Complete daily timesheets, including activity descriptions and cost codes,
for each person and, where required, plant item under his responsibility.
5) Prepare data of real/ technical cost, liaise with surveyor in calculate
mining reserve from drilling for project analysis purpose.
6) Coordinate requisition for small tools and consumable materials as required
in order to provide site operations support.
7) Identify hazards and risks during the planning phase of the work packages in
order to minimize exposure to personnel and the environment.
